  • Ryan Jacob

    Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

    Ryan Jacob joined CAE in early 2008, becoming Chairman, CEO and co-owner of the Company. Upon joining the Company, Ryan architected and executed its restructuring and growth plan. During this time, CAE's capital equipment market making revenue has grown from approximately $1.0 million in 2007 to approximately $60 million at the end of 2010, a compound annual growth rate of 291%; CAE estimates 2011 revenue to be in excess of $120 million. Prior to CAE, Ryan was a late and growth stage private equity investor, focused on technology. Ryan worked most recently at Summit Partners, an $11.0 billion global private equity firm focused on growth financing, recapitalization, and leverage buyout investments. Prior to Summit, Ryan worked at Endeavour Capital, a $1.0 billion private equity firm focused on recapitalization and leveraged buyout investments.

    Ryan holds a BA from the University of California, Los Angeles.

  • David Jackson

    Vice President of Sales and Trading

    David joined CAE in early 2009 and quickly became one of the firm's most successful Capital Equipment Traders. In late 2009 he moved into management as a Sales Director, heading up an 8 person trading team. He was promoted again to Vice President of Sales in early 2010, where he has focused on scaling the firm's trading operation. Previously, David was the CEO and founder of a boutique mortgage brokerage, focused on investment property financing.

    David graduated summa cum laude, from the California State University of Sacramento, with a BS in Business Administration.

  • Charlotte Lange

    General Counsel

    Charlotte joined CAE in 2010. She completed her J.D. at Boston University Law School, and before moving back to California was a Judicial Fellow in the Superior Court and worked for a boutique litigation firm. Prior to law school, she worked for the in-house legal department of a major production studio, and for a legal services agency providing advocacy for children in foster care and poverty.

    Charlotte graduated cum laude from Occidental College in Los Angeles, with a BA in Comparative Literature, and a minor in Politics.

  • Erin Hoang

    Vice President of Finance

    Erin joined CAE in late 2010. Previously, Erin was an assurance professional with Ernst & Young, LLP, a global leader in assurance, tax, transaction, advisory services and strategic growth markets. During her time at Ernst & Young, Erin was primarily focused on providing professional services in the areas of accounting, auditing and reporting to companies in the semiconductor industry.

    Erin received a BS in International Studies and a minor in Management from the University of California, Irvine and an MS in Accounting from San Jose State University. Erin is also a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of California.

  • Selina Burgoon

    Executive Vice President

    Selina joined CAE in early 2009 and quickly expanded her role across several departments at the Company. In late 2009, the Company's recruiting needs grew, and Selina began putting together the recruiting department infrastructure to drive execution and hit CAE's lofty hiring goals. In early 2011, Selina was promoted to the Director of Operations and Recruitment, and has since developed a recruiting team, in addition to taking an active role in improving and streamlining CAE's operations. She was promoted again to Executive Vice President in late 2011 and is focused on scaling CAE's current operations. During her time at CAE, Selina's recruiting efforts have been instrumental in taking CAE from 15 to 75 employees. Prior to CAE, Selina was a real estate marketing executive, involved heavily in the San Francisco Peninsula real estate market.

    A Bay Area native, Selina graduated cum laude from Santa Clara University, with a BSC in Business Marketing, and a minor in Management.

  • Ricky Vij

    Director of Sales and Trading

    Ricky joined CAE in early 2010. He accelerated quickly as one of the firm's top Traders, and was promoted to Senior Trader 5 months into his position. Continuing his early success, Ricky was promoted to Director in early 2011. He now manages a 12 person trading team, focusing on the growth and development of top performing Traders. Previously, Ricky spent time in investment banking and was the founder and CEO of a container board packaging company.

    Ricky graduated with top honors from UC Berkeley, with a BS in Industrial Engineering & Operations Research, Business Administration, and a BA in South Asian Studies. He also holds a Masters in Financial Engineering from Cornell University.

  • Mira Zaslove

    Director of Sales and Trading

    Mira joined CAE in early 2009 as a Capital Equipment Trader. After closing over 200 deals, she was promoted to Sales and Trading Director in 2011. Currently she runs a team focused on developing early stage traders. In this role, she oversees deals, builds client relationships, and mentors new traders. Mira has 10 years of experience in technology and investment banking, leading teams at early stage start-ups and mature, publicly traded companies with $30B+ in revenue. Previously, Mira worked at Pay By Touch, Morgan Stanley, and Robertson Stephens.

    Mira graduated magna cum laude, from Brown University, with a BA in History.
